On Tuesday night, September 29, students filled the Watsco Center in Coral Gables to hear about Jesus. Tonya Prewett said hundreds of them decided to go all in, then followed that decision into the water outside. The published number is still hundreds. The part I keep thinking about is the sidewalk between the arena and the baptisms.

The arena in Coral Gables
UniteUS brought the night to the University of Miami campus. Tonya Prewett preached, with her daughter Madison Prewett Troutt and Madison's husband, Grant Troutt. JWALKERS led the singing. CBN named Ella Schnacky, Noah Schnacky, and Roosevelt Stewart in that worship team.
Benjamin Gill reported the night for CBN on September 30. The story he filed is the one to read first. Charisma Magazine Online published the same report the next day, by agreement with CBN, and its page still says the revival arrived 'last night.' The date to keep is Tuesday, September 29, from CBN's September 30 account.
God marked the University of Miami tonight! Hundreds of students made the decision to go all in with Jesus and follow up with water baptism!
Tonya Prewett, posted that night, as carried by CBN
PRO TIP If you know a University of Miami student who was in that room, ask who is walking with them this week. A name is a better follow-up than a repost.
Then they went outside
Hundreds is the number Prewett gave. A precise arena total has not been published. A precise baptism count has not been published either. Until the university or UniteUS releases one, hundreds is the number to print.
UniteUS wrote, in the post CBN embedded: "And then to go outside afterward and watch students get baptized!! Those are moments we'll never forget." The same post thanked people who came, served, invited a friend, and prayed. It asked that what God began would keep growing "as students head back to their everyday lives."

UniteUS on the Miami night
Prewett's own clip from the night is here: Tonya Prewett on Instagram. Gill's CBN report carries both posts and the names of the night.
The sidewalk, and Monday
A South Florida arena can hold a holy hour. The hour ends. Students walk back to dorms, apartments, jobs, and group chats. Some of them are newly baptized, still drying off in the night air. Some said yes to Jesus and still need a church that knows their name. The photos will travel. The semester will still be there on Thursday.
I have watched the week after a night like this. The splash is visible. The assignment is quiet. Who meets them with a Bible they will actually open? Who sits with them when the group chat goes back to ordinary noise? Who knows which congregation within reach of Coral Gables will still be teaching Scripture in November?
UniteUS has already prayed that everyday-life prayer out loud. Local churches and campus ministries are the ones who can answer it in person. We asked the same kind of question after Toledo, where a plan built for five suddenly owed about fifty. Miami still has the word hundreds on the list. The walk is the same.
The next announced UniteUS stops are Appalachian State on October 13 and the University of South Alabama on October 27. Those rooms will have their own stories. This one already has a sidewalk.
Pray for the students who said yes at the University of Miami. Share this with a student who needs hope, and with a campus minister who can learn one name. Ask with us: What Would Jesus Do on the Monday after the outdoor baptisms? On the far side of the Watsco Center, he would know their names, open the Scriptures, and still be there when the lights are off.

PRO TIP Pray by name for Appalachian State on October 13 and South Alabama on October 27. Ask the Monday question before those rooms fill.
After the sidewalk
Read the original report, then look for one student whose week is still open.
- Read: Benjamin Gill at CBN for the night, the quotes, and the next two campus dates.
- Watch: the UniteUS post about going outside to baptize, and Prewett on Instagram.
- Pray: For University of Miami students who decided to follow Jesus on September 29.
- Ask: If you know someone who was there, ask who is opening a Bible with them this week.
- Stay: Campus ministers and local churches around Coral Gables are the Monday answer.

CBN reported the next gathering on October 13 at Appalachian State in Boone, North Carolina, and October 27 at the University of South Alabama in Mobile.
What is the Monday question?
Who walks a newly baptized student to a church, a Bible, and a person who will still know their name in November? That is the same kind of follow-up we wrote about after Toledo.
